Our Mission and Vision

The Wurtland Church of God is a growing, loving family of God's people. We want to lift up Jesus Christ — “the light of the world” (John 8:12). By following our savior and carefully listening to the Word of God, we strive to be a “light” to the community and the world (Matthew 5:14).

Our mission is that people:
"Catch It!"
It is our desire that people catch the anointing and favor that God has placed upon this church. And to this end, we offer a number of Bible study, worship and fellowship opportunities for our members and visitors to get closer to Him. We also have a number of outreach programs geared to Jesus Christ known to others and to the community.  And it is our vision to accept and receive all people where they are at, nurture and disciple them in the love of Christ and the Word of God. And to help them identify and move into God’s purpose and destiny for their lives. To provide an atmosphere where they feel they belong. And then send them out as a witness for Christ empowered by the Holy Spirit.
